Brittany is the owner of Truly Fit and a prenatal and postnatal fitness instructor. She is the mother of two little girls, 2 year old Sophia and 8 month old Harper. Brittany had a very difficult labor and delivery with her first daughter that left her overweight and out of shape. When she became pregnant with her second daughter shortly after she knew things had to change. Throughout her pregnancy she continued exercising and eating healthy. Although there were complications with the delivery of her second daughter the labor process went much more smoothly and she attributes it to her prenatal fitness. There was a shorter recovery time and she felt much more like herself much sooner after delivery. Brittany continues to exercise on a daily basis with her favorite two workout buddies, eats a healthy vegetarian diet, and strives to get other women passionate about fitness. Brittany, her husband, Richard, and her two daughters live in the Sunshine State.

Hello all!  I am a personal trainer currenly finishing up my master's trainer certifications.  I am also a beachbody coach with goals to be certified in teaching insanity and PIYO. That alone should give you some idea of my deep seeded passion for fitness.  It truly is a lifestyle and is completely attainable. My goal is to pass on my knowledge and passion while also sharing all my new knowledge as I am constantly learning and growing.  That is one of the best parts about fitness! There is always something new to learn, share, and even modify.  Fitness is great isn't it?

I also wanted to share a little bit of my back story.  I previously worked as a nurse until I decided to stay home with my two little boys.  My oldest is three, and the youngest is 20 months.  Not to mention how much easier staying home made breastfeeding, but it truly gave me the space and time I needed to discover what I was meant to do.  I was overweight after having both my boys.  I needed and wanted to lost the weight.  Reason being is that I needed and wanted to be healthy for them.  I think our fitness journey's usually start the same way.  We are trying to get rid of the body fat and squeeze into some skinny jeans.  The reasons tend to be a bit vain.  Then we often discover that in order to do this we have to do a lot more than just starve and run a few miles.  This is where I was.  I was learning about getting rid of this excess weight on my petite frame, when it hit me.  This is a way of life.  This change is one of the best changes I can make for myself and my family.  AND I DID IT!  I threw out the junk, learned to cook, googled exercises, and stayed CONSISTENT!  That is all it took for me to get hooked! The fitness bug bit me, and now there is no turning back.  I wouldn't want to if I had the option anyway.

I am looking forward to  helping those that have already been bitten, and really truly get anyone else on track to happier and healthier version of themselves! Let the fun begin!
